NFL Best Bets For Week 9

Griff Bordignon Nov 4, 2023

Winner Winner chicken dinner to end the month of October.

November starts with another 3 team parlay that will turn some heads going into, sadly, the second half of the NFL season.

We get things started in Atlanta, a team whose name has been in this conversation quite a few times over the last few weeks. Like last week, we’re once again fading the Dirty Birds against the spread as the Skol Minnesota Vikings come to town, and new rookie QB Jaren Hall gets the start after starter Kirk Cousins tore his Achilles last week in Lambeau Field. This bet is to start leg one, and the day is Minnesota against the spread of +4. Why? Because we don’t trust Atlanta, who got lit up by Will Levis last week, Minnesota is also 3-0-1 against the space on the road this season. Meanwhile, Atlanta is 1-3 against the spread at home and a lowly 2-6 against the spread this year.

Leg 2 takes us to the late window and the city of Brotherly Shove. Yes, folks, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles host the Cowboys in an NFC East battle for the division and bragging rights among fans. I think we’re getting a points shootout. Both teams will want to show out, and the over-under in this history in the last ten games has gone 7-3. The total is 47.5 at the moment, and I quickly see this game being like a 28-24 or even into the thirties, so fill all my holes with all the points, baby.

Sunday Night Football on NBC, the Bengals and the Bills in a wild showdown. The idea of a game for Damar Hamlin is more engrained into the media than the team, who is determined not to cover a spread but to get a convincing win against a team that ended their season last year in the Cincinnati Bengals. All signs point to Buffalo getting a win to put their name back on the map. Fun fact: Buffalo’s time on NBC only lost to the 2007 Patriots, who beat everyone except the Giants in the Super Bowl, now I’m sad. But Cincinnati is 0-9. It will be 0-10, as Buffalo ML is the final leg on this parlay.

I am placing $15.86 on this parlay at +634 odds to win $116.38. Happy Betting.

Hi, my name is Griff and I'm a complete sports nut. I love to play sports, watch sports and most importantly bet on sports too. If I'm not watching or betting on sports, you can find me on the golf course, between the pipes as your average beer league goaltender. Although sports take up most of my life, I also love spending time with my two dogs, streaming usually a 90's Simpson's or attempting to read more books.
