NFL Best Bets Week 16 Christmas Eve

Dec 23, 2023

Merry Christmas Eve everyone, you thought we would take a week off? Well after a solid week 15 where we were winners, we have to get back on the horse.

We start in the great white north with a clash of NFC North foes as the Vikings in a White Out game host the Detroit Lions on this Christmas Eve Sunday. While the game will be a clash with the division on the line, the total will go over the 47.5 allotted points given to us by the sportsbook as I think in a game where this can determine a lot for the future of both organizations, I think we get a shootout or at least a score of 27-24, which equals 51.

We take a trip down to Music City where the lowly Titans face a Seahawk team coming off an incredible comeback win at the hands of one Drew Lock. However through all of this, I’m taking the Titans to win because remember from our October 29 article, per ESPN, Mike Vrabel is 26-16-1 ATS and 22-21 outright in his career as an underdog. He is 11-6 outright and ATS as a home underdog. Don’t fade Vrabel as a home dog plus Seattle hasn’t won a road game since week 4 in New York.

We end the night in Mile High as it is a Christmas Eve clash of well the Patriots and the Broncos. It has been anything but Jolly for the New England Patriots this year as they’re 3-11 and the season hasn’t been anything to light up the Christmas Tree about. Meanwhile, Denver while turning things around from a 1-5 start to going 6-2 over the last couple of months but the team’s luck may be running out after a 42-17 shellacking at the hands of the first mentioned Detriot Lions, the Broncos stampede may not be as loud this week with New England who’s defence can stop Denver’s offence from this game from getting out of hand, hence my final pick on this Christmas Eve, New England at +7 on the point spread. Plus Denver is 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games played in week 16.

The Odds for this parlay are a steeping +874, where $21.85 can potentially win us $212.74 on ScoreBet.

Merry Christmas and yes I will have picks for Christmas Day.

Hi, my name is Griff and I'm a complete sports nut. I love to play sports, watch sports and most importantly bet on sports too. If I'm not watching or betting on sports, you can find me on the golf course, between the pipes as your average beer league goaltender. Although sports take up most of my life, I also love spending time with my two dogs, streaming usually a 90's Simpson's or attempting to read more books.
