This came up in my group chat this morning, at first I didn’t believe it. Then my buddy attached said video above and it is indeed a real thing.

I give props to the DWNR for adapting their business model to the ‘new normal’. It is insane what they are doing. Over 4000 square feet on outdoor strip mania, separated by shipping containers. I don’t blame them for trying. I think strip clubs are one of the businesses that are taking the biggest hit in these COVID 19 times.

Call bullshit if you want, I haven’t been inside a strip joint in 4+ years. ( after I met my lovely fiancé ) Never had the best experiences within the walls of those establishments anyways, let me explain.

1. When I was freshly 19 I went to my first strip club in Toronto, Zanzibar with three other 19 year old friends( even though our Dads told us not to go there). Long story short, we got mobbed by the hottest girls id ever seen then all got robbed for 250 bucks and were told to leave or else we’d have our arms broken, 250 bucks a was a lot back then for a 19 year old. That was a fun conversation with my dad after the fact. HUGE, I told you so moment for Dave Rooke.

2. Last strip club experience I went with my buddies before we went to a music festival in Nashville. It was my friends birthday. I bought him two strippers to give him double lap dance( 40 bucks even) he decided to stay in there for 6 songs with both of them and ended up owing 650 bucks by the end of it all. He ended up sprinting out the front door without paying while two bouncers chased him down the street. He got away, but the bouncers came back and took the other remaining three of us into a room upstairs to talk to the boss of the club. I thought for sure we were getting our extremities broken or beaten up in a private room Vegas style.

Luckily, I thought on my feet and said I didn’t know the guy and just met him in the smokers pit and bought him dances because it was his bday. We were escorted out.

Strip clubs are greasy spaces and 9 times out of 10 you get hosed or beaten up. I’d suggest if you want to see some skin do it the old fashion way and be nice to a girl for an extended period of time.

Full props to the Sundowner for adapting. I hope they are passing out SPF 50 to all the strippers or else we are going to have some burnt butt cheeks.
