Not Content With Killing And An NHL Franchise, Arizona Coyotes Owner Arrested For Trying To Strangle His Wife
I feel like the vetting process for owning a shit NHL franchise like the Arizona Coyotes starts and ends with bank statements.
The NHL has confirmed Arizona Coyotes minority owner Andrew Barroway has been arrested in Colorado on a felony strangulation charge.
He also reportedly faces a misdemeanour third degree assault charge, the Aspen Daily News reports.https://t.co/TFxsVm1ZY4— Rick Westhead (@rwesthead) March 24, 2023

Aspen Daily News: A prominent hedge-funder and a minority owner of the Arizona Coyotes spent Thursday night in Pitkin County Jail after police arrested him at a downtown hotel on a felony strangulation charge relating to domestic violence.
Andrew Barroway, 57, of Scottsdale, Arizona, posted a $2,500 personal recognizance bond on Friday afternoon following a 3 p.m. virtual hearing in front of 9th Judicial District Chief Judge John Neiley.
Barroway, wearing orange Pitkin County Jail clothes, appeared virtually from Aspen; Neiley was in Garfield County District Court. Barroway, though his attorney Scott Troxell, waived advisement of the charges against him. The hearing centered on terms of his release from jail, including a protection order and a personal-recognizance bond.
Aspen police arrested Barroway at approximately 9:35 a.m. at the Limelight Aspen on Monarch Street, according to police records. The call to authorities was placed at 8:42 a.m. Court records show he and his wife had been involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. He is under a court order that prohibits from having any contact with his wife, except when it involves their children. Barroway also cannot consume alcohol, per the court order.
In addition to a second-degree assault charge related to strangulation, a Class 4 felony, Barroway also faces a third-degree assault charge, a Class 1 misdemeanor, according to an updated court affidavit.
The Coyotes’ front office had this to say: “We are aware of the allegation regarding Mr. Barroway and we are working with the League to gather more information.
Just have a pre-playoff contraction draft, divvy up the players around the league, and close the fucking doors on Mullet Arena. Then, what’s left of the franchise to Quebec and start over again.
The Arizona Coyotes are a GARBAGE franchise that has never turned a profit or been of any value to the NHL. ZERO. They are an in-house farm team of scrap parts, draft picks, and dead money. One of their owners is a deadbeat drunk who hurts his wife, and the majority owner doesn’t like to pay his bills.
Either Gary Bettman needs a money laundering team, or someone in AZ has nudes of him and Bill Daly.
