Pat King – From Live Stream to Lockup! Canada’s Dumbest Criminal Is Behind Bars And Here’s Why

Aug 5, 2024

Ah, Pat King—king of delusion and master of bad decisions! Pat thought he was getting out of jail, but surprise, he did not. This guy genuinely believed he could dance around the law and keep flouting his bail conditions like he was auditioning for a reality show titled “Bail Breakers.” Unbelievable how cocky someone can be when they don’t know how to keep their mouth shut—or, you know, their phone off!

This past Wednesday was a wild ride as Pat was stuck in custody overnight for an unknown amount of time. Just that morning, he was live-streaming on TikTok, explaining that it was merely a surety problem and that he’d soon be out with better bail conditions. I texted someone close to him, asking why he’d make such claims, and they replied that he had a new surety set at a whopping $15K.

Spoiler alert: that money didn’t buy him freedom!

I watched Pat waltz into the courthouse at 2:20 PM, breezing through security like he was entering a VIP lounge. He was smiling and chatting with his lawyer and his friend.

He presented himself to the police, who agreed to arrest him downstairs. Pat exchanged goodbyes, and Natasha cheerfully said, “See you in a bit, Pat!” Little did they know that “a bit” would become an extended vacation in the clink.

The police escorted him downstairs to a more private area, where Tamara Lich and Chris Barber had previously spent a lot of time during their trial.

Oh, and here’s something amusing: this guy, who is all about social media and memes, asked the police to tell me to leave so he wouldn’t have to watch me witnessing his arrest. Poor baby!

They slapped on the handcuffs and confiscated all his personal belongings, including his beloved cell phone. If I had even a hint that I wasn’t getting arrested, I would have handed my stuff over to a close friend or his lawyer, Natasha Calvinho. But no, Pat thought he was invincible.

The police tossed his phone, wallet, keys, lighter, and “smokes” into a Ziploc bag like it was the world’s worst homeless handbag. I’m sure he was. I’m convinced he’d breeze through his processing a few hours and stroll out with his shiny new $15,000 surety and “better bail conditions.” But here I am, “writing this while he remains behind bars at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre.

Why didn’t Pat consider handing over his belongings to his lawyer or a friend?

Why give the police your cell phone?

Why take such a ridiculous risk?

It’s like they get sucked into their hype and narrative, oblivious to the glaring issues—like the “insignificant b”each” of social media,” as his current girlfriend so charmingly puts it.

I’m pretty sure, in a moment of honesty, Pat and his new ‘girlfriend’ wouldn’t be released immediately. She admitted in a Twitter Space last night that when they discovered Pat King had breached his bail conditions for social media use on or around July 27, regarding a Twitter Space on July 24, 2024, they preferred to blame it on his surety instead of owning up to the truth about why he’s back in the slammer. To protect “Pat’s image.” LOL.

I’m sorry, did someone express concern about protecting Pat’s image? Are you “Pat Fans” out of your mind? Wow, it’s astonishing that some people can be so clueless.

This certainly sounds like a coordinated effort from somewhere higher up. But the real question is: Who is “above”?

And what’s the deal with “harassment” anyway? Isn’t a lawyer supposed to keep that kind of chaos in check?

I mean, when Sophie Perrault from Montreal made a Facebook post doxxing the surety and blaming his ex-girlfriend for why Pat was back in jail, putting their full names out there on social media—across all platforms—I was even asked to share it. Still, I refused to do so until I confirmed its accuracy with the surety. It turned out to be untrue! To see a lawyer share this, in my opinion, is quite questionable.

As you recall, Pat King was in jail for over five months waiting for bail the first time around. How does anyone think breaching those conditions would be a stroll through the bakery?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, these two women have spent the last few years bending over backward to take care of Pat King, only to get burned by this joker and his clown followers.

These individuals on the right who have been cheering on this nonsense since Sunday are contributing to the harassment and death threats. Seriously, what is the matter with you? It seems you’ve lost touch with reality.

I can’t help but feel a twinge of sympathy for anyone misled about what this Freedom saga is really about. After all, I was fooled. I was wrong. I can admit when I’m wrong, and you will come to learn this about me. Someone like Pat, who knows they’re under scrutiny, shouldn’t be blabbing away. Play a bit of chess here, Pat.

Once Pat was brought into the courtroom at 3:15 PM, his legal counsel, Natasha Calvinho, suddenly accused me of recording and live-streaming the court proceedings. This is the same woman who asked for my help taking notes during Pat’s three days in Ottawa. On July 24, she was working on her closing arguments. She knows I studied to be a paralegal, have always adhered to court decorum, and expect those around me to do the same.

To go on record and accuse me of recording is not just absurd—it’s downright unprofessional. Are my notetaking skills so impressive that they could only be achieved by recording? I had to explain to the judge that I wasn’t doing anything of the sort; I was merely taking notes on my iPhone notepad.

Ms. Calvinho was more than grateful to have me in the courtroom for three days, transcribing everything verbatim. The moment I chose not to spread lies and accusations that could harm others to help ‘Pat’s image’ even if I’m branded ‘the enemy.

Pat King returned to court brief on August 2. He was present in person, while his lawyer attended via Zoom. The court has adjourned to August 9, when he will appear via Zoom at the Ottawa courthouse at 161 Elgin for his bail hearing.

It is still unknown what the breaches of the bail conditions were and what further charges may be forthcoming.

Here is Natasha Calvinho’s official statement following Wednesday’s court appearance.

As of now, Pat is still locked up, and it was his 80th birthday on Friday.

It sucks to be him. For a million reasons, but at least he gets to see some old friends until he can convince someone with an extra $25k to be his surety. Pat will be in jail for a while.

Boo-ya.
