He just can’t hide it.

He may try by shooting his little videos talking about his love for old wood or various lengths of wood. (Who doesn’t love that?) He can get up and yell out pre-scripted questions in the House of Commons. Which is all he’s done for his entire adult life. He’s great at that! Yet if he has to have an actual conversation in public OR answer Qs from the media he goes completely off the rails.

That’s why the fucking coward that he is hides or only takes 2 to 5 softball questions before he scurries away after one of his pressers. Which are nothing more than him yelling and yammering into a microphone about how much he hates Canada.

He’s never been held accountable.

I cannot speak to how awful the atrocities that happened at the Residential Schools truly are. I am the least qualified person to do so. It is where I can only sit back and listen to those who have been affected and to those whose job it is to deal with such issues.

So what I can comment on is the speech that Pierre gave yesterday to the racist, far right group ‘Frontier Centre for Public Policy’ with an audience of approximately 500 people.

Back in 2018 the organization ran radio ads stating that residential schools robbing Indigenous children of their childhood was merely a “myth.”

When asked about why he gave the speech before the organization a spokesperson for Pierre said something to the effect of “just because he gave a speech to the organization doesn’t mean he agrees with everything they believe in.”

PP himself tried to brush it off by saying “We speak with groups all the time with which we disagree,” This is pretty much the same thing he said about cuddling up to and playing footsies with Jordan Peterson. He yammered into his phone while walking in the woods, far away from any reporter or “common people”, that it doesn’t mean that he agrees with everything Peterson has ever said.

A claim that nobody had made but serves as a nice strawman (or is it red herring?) argument to let himself off the hook.

Years of racism by that organization or years of transphobic remarks by Peterson doesn’t mean diddly squat. He’s just giving a speech! He’s just playing footsies! Why are YOU overreacting???

It’s just a joke, bro!

This isn’t just Pierre Poilievre blowing a dog whistle to the racists and bigots that support him. This is Pierre Poilievre, with passport in hand (#WhereIsMustafa), heading to the Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. Boarding a flight to Switzerland. Summiting the highest mountain in all the land. Then blowing one of those giant alpenhorns like he’s in a fucking cough syrup commercial.

He’s a fucking racist. He’s a fucking bigot. He’s a fucking MGTOW misogynist. PERIOD.

By pulling stunts like this time after time it’s become abundantly clear that Pierre Poulievre puts his own political ambitions over any and everything else.

For him it’s HEADLINES OVER HUMANITY.

But no worries. Stop overreacting!
