Pierre Poilievre is at it again!
Playing silly games during Question Period so he can produce his fundraising videos to blast out to those who sign his “petitions.”
Today he was again DEMANDING the Prime Minister stand up to answer his questions! But, the thing is, you see, Prime Minister Trudeau wasn’t actually IN the House of Commons.
That’s right. The Leader of His Majesty’s LOYAL Opposition, Pierre Poilievre, was screaming at an empty chair.
So I tweeted this out:
Once again @PierrePoilievre is pretending the Prime Minister is in the House of Commons when he isn't.#PierrePoilievreIsLyingToYou #QP pic.twitter.com/Z7fQh152Wc

I followed it up with a screenshot showing the PM’s empty seat that Poilievre had just finished yelling and gesturing at:
That's @PierrePoilievre on the right after asking the Prime Minister to answer his question.
That's the Prime Minister's seat on the left.
What do you #Pierre4PM folks think about him lying so he can get you to donate your hard earned $$$?#PierrePoilievreIsLyingToYou #QP pic.twitter.com/zHgvfEQez6

(Wow. That sure is some excellent use of Parliamentary Privilege, eh?)
Just stand up and blatantly lie in front of God and everyone so he can later use the footage to show how COURAGEOUS he is and make it look like the PM is hiding and afraid. (Does his base give a damn at all about him lying? Or will they just get their faux-rage fix and send him money?)
Green Party Leader Elizabeth May tweeted about it from her seat in the House of Commons. Pointing out where the Prime Minister was:
If you are watching #QP and hear Pierre Poilievre say the PM "lacks the courage to stand" to reply to him, the PMO sched shows PMJT is in a meeting with Indigenous leaders. PP gestures at an empty seat as though Trudeau is in the chamber and scared of him. It is a bit childish.

Of course, Poilievre knew the PM would not be in the House for QP today.
Journalist Dale Smith even tweeted about it last night:
The PM will not be at #QP tomorrow, but his deputy will be. #cdnpoli pic.twitter.com/OgeJ2vfgrq

The PM’s itinerary is always made public.
Yet so desperate to look like he’s a big tough guy Poilievre stood in the HoC barking out demands that the PM stop hiding and have the courage to stand up and answer him!
It reminds me of this cringe moment:

I guess I can see why Pierre wanted to come out swinging to look like an extra tough manly man today after putting out this image:
Common sense like getting all dressed up in pretend safety gear and shiny Oxford shoes? pic.twitter.com/f8ZJudWQW6
