Yesterday before meeting with some of his supporters in Timmins, Ontario, Pierre Poilievre attempted to blend in with what he calls “common people” by putting on what appears to be a brand new blue plaid shirt. By the looks of things he had it starched and ironed before heading out on stage.
The mostly elderly, mostly male and all white crowd must have been very impressed with how much he seems to be just like them!
Sure he’s never had a job outside of politics but that didn’t matter at all to the crowd who I can only imagine gazed in awe at the “working man” yammering into a microphone about how awful their lives truly are.
