Pierre Poilievre Exploits Horrific Tragedy to Score Cheap Political Points

Jason Pugh Aug 25, 2023

Yet again, Pierre Poilievre proves that there isn’t anything he won’t exploit to score cheap political points.

Poilievre posted this yesterday:

I responded with this:

With his tweet, Pierre Poilievre is insinuating that this is somehow Justin Trudeau’s fault. Of course, he’s too much of a coward to come right out and say that directly.

The old internet troll version of “I’m not touching you! I’m not touching you!”!

Here’s a link to the tragic story that Pierre himself described as a ‘horror.’

‘There was blood everywhere:’ Man stabbed multiple times while pushing granddaughter in a stroller

Videos have emerged showing the moments before and after a man was stabbed multiple times while pushing his granddaughter in a stroller down a residential street in Oshawa on Tuesday morning in what police believe was a random attack.

So Pierre Poilievre sees that horrible story, and his FIRST instinct is to think about exploiting it for his own political gain. This sort of thing SHOULD be shocking, but it isn’t. This is “the norm” for Pierre Poilievre.

Sick. Disturbing. Disgusting.

Paulitical Eye (@PauliticalEye) responded with:

Poilievre’s CPC likes to pretend that nothing bad ever happened before 2015. Plus, you’re not allowed to bring up the dark decade of Stephen Harper because that’s ancient history. However, pics of Trudeau from 20 years ago…

Yup! PP is going to solve ALL of your problems! There won’t be any crimes ever committed if HE is Prime Minister! Of course, if any crime happens at any time anywhere across the country, he, being the PM, would take FULL responsibility for it. Right?

Don’t you get it? There was never any crime before 2015 and there’s no such thing as jurisdiction, according to Pierre Poilievre.

Yes. According to Pierre Poilievre’s “logic,” that would be true, but Cons and their supporters are always quick to point out we’re not allowed to bring up Stephen Harper to point out their hypocrisy because, again, that’s ancient history.

Ruth (@AnneofKingston) pointed out:

Yes. It should be!

Just like Pierre Poilievre cheating to win the CPC leadership race by paying off the fake whistleblower’s lawyers should be:

Today in “Imagine If It Had Been Trudeau!” (But will barely make a blip in Canadian Media)

Or Harper’s Assistant Chairman at the International Democratic Union being indicted along with Donald Trump:

Harper’s Assistant Chairman of the International Democratic Union, Mike Roman, indicted yesterday in Georgia along with Trump

But, thanks to Canadian Media both of those stories have *POOF* disappeared.

Exactly. This isn’t normal. If it were the norm it wouldn’t be newsworthy.

Pierre Poilievre just wants everything to sound horrible all the time. He is campaigning on hate, fear and divisions by saying everything feels broken, and he’s trying his damndest to convince you of it.

Of course, PP’s army of flying monkeys/bots were there to defend the indefensible, but I’m not gonna post any of that garbage here.

Well, with one exception:

(Uh oh! It looks like while I was writing this post, Randy Hillier blocked me. No worries. That’s what screencaps are for!)

This was my response (which got me blocked):

Randy Hillier. For Randy Hillier to feed off “the bottom,” he’d actually have to climb up.

I have been saying it for years: there’s no low too low for Conservatives to go.

SCANDAL NUMBER FIVE – The one they dropped overnight: Healing lodge transfers

I’ll finish with Thunder Bay Ed’s (@ThunderBayEd) response to Poilievre:

So remember this the next time Poilievre or one of his henchmen like Ontario Proud’s Jeff Ballingall claim it’s the other team campaigning on the politics of hate, fear and division.

Pierre Poilievre is a rage-farming ghoul.
