Episode 21 – Tiger, Firings and Baseball Oh, My!

About the Episode

Hosted by Paul C. Cuthbert and Robert Kuney.

The Honchos closed out February with another heart-shaped box of sports goodness on the showgram. The love fest started with the 41st anniversary of the U.S. Olympic Hockey team’s gold medal win over Finland and a Twitter poll about being a passenger on the flight from Denver to Hawaii that lost an engine over the weekend.

The biggest story of the week was the Tiger Woods car crash and it got the Honchos treatment to start the sports portion of this evening’s performance.

After the Woods talk the Honchos laced up the skates and looked at the saga of The Bread Man in New York and the firing of Claude Julian in Montreal. Then the Honchos went around the bases with the retirement of Tim Tebow, the Fernando Tatis, Jr. contract becoming lighter, and the resignation of Kevin Mather from the Mariners.

Tonight’s NFL Recap was all about the big news coming out of DC – no new name in 2021 for the WooFTskins, Alex Smith throwing the team under the bus, and the possibility of Jeff Bezos joining the ownership group.

The dance ended tonight as it always does with the Dope of the Week. Tonight’s winner was Joe Buck of the NFL on Fox.
