Poilievre chooses fabrications over facts

Jason Pugh Apr 17, 2023

The first thing Pierre Poilievre did today during the Question Period was refer to intelligence reports on foreign interference. He hasn’t had an NSICOP briefing because he refuses to submit to a Nat Sec background.

To which I responded with this tweet:

Dean Blundell wrote about the background check issue here:

LET’S INVESTIGATE THE TRUDEAU FOUNDATION AND POILIEVRE’S INTERESTS BECAUSE OF TRANSPARENCY, RIGHT??

As we all know, he said getting such briefings on foreign interference is a “trap and” a trick” meant “o silence him.

UPDATE: POILIEVRE *WOULD REFUSE* BRIEFING TO PLAY POLITICS

So everybody and their dog has written or said something about PP refusing to know the facts. As he said, it would silence him. Which means he wouldn’t be allowed to continue to LIE.

He just right out admitting that the briefings that he, leader of the LOYAL opposition, should HAVE to do would prevent him from talking about Canada’s national security issues which means he doesn’t care about our National security.

People like emotional toxic waste Andy Lee said that if he got his NSICOP briefings, he’d have a conflict of interest when asking the PMO questions about the interference. He might be in a ‘conflict’ of interest because what’s in PeePee’s best interest is to be allowed to continue to lie for partisan talking points.

I guess Lee sees that as a good idea for a leader.

So I made this:

Remember: Strong leaders remain In the dark!

Poilievre recently held up a copy of 1984 in the House of Commons. (He probably blasted out a fundraising video of the stunt.) Knowing that using props is against the house rules.

He had a copy of the book featured prominently on the shelf behind him in the video where he announced that he was running to be PM of Canada. (Or something.)

Pictured: Gatekeeper complaining about BIG government

You know – the video where Mr. Gatekeeper (who recently said he’d withered federal funding from provincial and municipal governments that don’t adhere to his demands) started by complaining about big government?

So what’s with using the book as a prop? Well, it’s just’s projection and gaslighting from #PeePee. He wants to act like Big Brother, and how he and his fellow Convoy Party of Canada MPs act during Question Period looks like “two minutes of hate.”

They sure as hell LOVE using their parliamentary privilege to spew out whatever lies and garbage they want to edit together, then the CPAC footage for fundraising videos.

So now they’re arguing that he’s free to be ignorant of the facts. Because if he knew the facts, he wouldn’t be allowed to lie about the facts while voting AGAINST a full foreign interference investigation into all party’s dealings with China, Russia, and The USA.

All politicians lie, but the only one who takes an oath to protect Canadians and absolves themselves of that Oath with their daily actions is Pierre Poilievre.
