Video: Pierre Poilievre Caught Lying About Biden Dinner Invite As Conservatives Gaslight US President During Canadian Visit

So you might have heard that we were hosting some guests here in Canada over the last day.

Mr. and Dr. Biden. He’s the President of the United States, and she is the First Lady of the United States.

This trip had been planned for quite some time, and it occasionally popped up in the news.

It wasn’t covered enough because Pierre Poilievre was entirely caught off guard!

He was unaware that the whole trip, which included the POTUS giving a speech in the House of Commons, would end with a big fancy dinner!

There were lots of people invited. Other MPs. Former Prime Ministers. TV & Movie stars and even a Jedi!

However, Poilievre didn’t receive an invite!

But first. Let’s go back a bit to earlier in the day.

Pierre Poilievre stumbled onto the world stage like this:

Was it just me, or did he sound like a student presenting the title of the science fair project to the school principal? As if he didn’t know how to act like an adult suddenly. Let alone a politician on the world stage.

I agree. I like how Mike Gibbs put it:

That was awkward AF.

However not as awkward as when Biden was leaving, as Mike pointed out here:

I think Joe Biden is a good judge of character.

So THAT WAS IT! That was Pierre Poilievre stumbling onto the world stage.

It could have only been more awkward for him if his voice cracked and he “snarted” while shaking POTUS’ hand.

Then it all went downhill from there…

News broke about the list of people who would be attending the dinner. All opposition leaders would be attending—all but PP.

When asked about it, Poilievre’s office said they had not even received an invitation and accused the Prime Minister of playing “childish games.”

That’s when the whole shit show began. (Pierre Poilievre IS the expert on “shit shows,” after all. Remember when he tossed around papers while screaming “shit show” into a microphone?)

I immediately called it out as bullshit:

It didn’t take long for the Prime Minister’s office to respond. They released a copy of the invitation they emailed Pierre Poilievre.

It was sent to his official personal email that all Members of Parliament have and use. It is known as the “P9” email. I know this first hand as I have had email exchanges with a Member of Parliament using their “P9” email.

Oh, no. Now Pierre’s bad day is just getting worse!

No worries! He sent out his fellow Briel Cream aficionado, Melisa Lantsman, to clear everything up!

Now it’s not that he didn’t GET the invitation. It went to an email address that Pierre Poilievre no longer uses. You know. The “P9” personal email account that all MPs have.

Yes, Melisa. Ah, yes. There she is! Sent out to clear up the apparent bullshit started by the crack team over at Pierre Poilievre’s office and still hurling accusations against the PMO. The PMO wanted to make Pierre’s inability to RSVP to a dinner invitation the “story of the day.” Oh, and don’t forget that Poilievre originally planned a fundraiser this evening and canceled it. (I just thought I’d mention that here for the record.)

When asked about it, Pierre said he hadn’t used the “P9” email account for seven years!

So is he saying that it’s the staff in the PMO or the Prime Minister himself who is at fault for this whole fiasco? Because they should know he doesn’t use the standard email that all other MPs use??? CBC’s David Cochrane said that would make Poilievre the only MP he knows who doesn’t use the “P9” email.

So that makes me wonder a few things.

1) What email IS he using to conduct his ‘personal’ business with his staff, MPs, officials, and whomever else an MP would use the “P9” email for?

2) Is Pierre Poilievre SO incompetent as leader of the official opposition that he *OOPS* MISSED the invitation to the dinner with the President of the United States?

Or

3) Did he try to pull the most pathetic and petty political stunt possible?

So that was Pierre Poilievre’s big day out on the world stage.

What did he accomplish? He was a minor blip on the news today, and now all other MPs must be set up with new personal email accounts.
