PSA For Parents. Blippi Is On Tour…But There’s A Catch…

So much to learn about. It’ll make you want to shout BLIPPI!

If you didn’t sing that, this article probably doesn’t concern you.

For those who don’t know but want to know, Blippi is a WILDLY popular children’s entertainer who started as a simple YouTube channel and turned it into a multi-million dollar brand. His high-pitched voice and childlike wonder in a grown man’s body has a certain appeal and he’s not the worst thing my kids watch. (I’m looking at you Caillou!) So it’s only natural that eventually there would be a live show featuring Blippi and his antics.

A few years ago when Blippi tried this it caused a real stink in the parenting community because it was being billed as “Blippi Live” but it wasn’t the original actor portraying Blippi (Stevin John) going on tour. There was another actor they hired to portray Blippi for the touring show and parents were PISSED!

Needless to say, it got off to a rocky start. So the team behind Blippi went back to the drawing board and introduced a “new” Blippi on the YouTube Channel and various streaming distributors and thus a new Blippi was born…sort of…the new actor (Clayton Grimm) kind of looks like the OG Blippi. Definitely acts like Blippi and is a WAY better singer than Blippi. So they introduced him to start to make it palatable for parents and children to see a different actor playing Blippi.

Which leads me to Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour which has stops all around the globe. But PARENTS BEWARE you are not getting Stevin John or even Clayton Grimm. The website clearly states

So who knows what you’ll be getting? I’m sure it’ll be entertaining and if you don’t make a big stink over it neither will you kid (probably).

Also if want to hear about the VERY NSFW video that Stevin John made before he was Blippi, watch below and be sure to SUBSCRIBE!
