Rage Against The Machine To Headline Coachella 2022!

As you know, COVID-19 stopped Rage Against The Machine from playing the 2020 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Now, co-founder Paul Tollett has confirmed that RATM and Travis Scott will headline the 2022 festival!

Coachella 2022 is set for the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, California.

Tollett told the LA Times, “Right now, it’s the Wild West. I’m just trying to be as fair as I can to artists and to the fans to make sure that eventually they get to see everyone that we talked about.”

You’ll remember that Coachella postponed the 2021 festival due to the pandemic. Tollett said, “I don’t want to force it too soon. I’d rather wait. You’ll never remember that you had to wait, but you’ll remember if you went to a really bad event.”

Tollett said he’s taking the “wait-and-see” approach to vaccinations or COVID tests, “We’re monitoring everything. I don’t want to put anything in cement right now, because I just don’t know.”

Can you think of a band you’d rather see record a new album than Rage?
