Dirty play any way you slice it. Too bad the play was rushing the other way and none of the officials saw it. Matthew Knies left the game and did not return most likely with a concussion. I am not surprised if he has a conky, his head did get driven into the ice.

Normally when a player gets injured players safety will review it. But I highly doubt that he gets disciplined.

Time will tell.

PS: this isn’t why the Leafs lost Game 2. It was because of Sergei Bobrovsky playing on his head, pictured below.
