Scapegoat: The Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant For Tua Tagovailoa Vs The Bills Has Been Fired And I Don’t Buy It For A Second

I’m told the unaffiliated neurotrama consultant involved in Tua Tagovailoa’s concussion test last Sunday was fired after the NFLPA found the person made several mistakes, per source.

HOT TAKE ALERT!
This whole thing smells fishy to me.
For context, the unaffiliated consultant is specifically in place to make sure an NFL team’s medical staff doesn’t make a biased decision on whether or not to clear a player. According to reports, the neutral party made some mistakes.
The NFLPA is in the middle of investigating the Tua issue and him being cleared to reenter Week 3’s game in Miami.
I am calling big fat BS. It just so happens that the person who is responsible is the unaffiliated consultant. Convenient that this exonerates anyone on the Miami Dolphins. An unnamed person who no one in the public is ever going to know is responsible for making all the mistakes in regard to Tua’s concussion. Doesn’t seem right to me. There is the consultant and a head team doctor and a trainer. You are telling me the doctor and trainer have no way to override the independent consultant. I don’t buy it for a second.
The fix is in, this is the NFL and Miami passing the buck to someone who has nothing to do with the team. Seems weird. Coming from a team who apparently fixed games to lose, I don’t put anything past them.
