In yesterday’s game, Springer hit the only two jacks of the game. The Jays won 2-1. Today in another nail-biter Springer makes an incredible catch in the bottom of the 9th to potentially save the game.

George Springer’s contract goes against what all GMs say is incorrect . It is not a good idea to sign early 30s position players to long-term contracts. Springer dinger is an exception to the rule. All he does is win. He may be one of the best hitters in baseball. The proof is in the pudding Everywhere he goes, he wins. Every at-bat he seems to be positive and he is always making timely hits. Not to mention his defence.
