We couldn’t believe it when we signed Charles Adler to Crier Media. Charles is a legend and the fact that he decided to take his talents to our little digital media company speaks volumes. I am sure Chuck had offers from every major media outlet in Canada.
Unless you live under a rock you’d know we are launching the Charles Adler Podcast tomorrow, to say we are excited is an understatement.
Charles’s career is unmatched spanning over four decades, Adler has left an indelible mark on the media landscape and has become a household name across the Great White North.
Charles was born in 1954 in Budapest, Hungary and arrived in Canada as a refugee in 1957. His parents settled in Montreal. That’s where he was raised. Adler moved to Winnipeg when was 29.
Adler’s passion for journalism and storytelling was evident from an early age. He started his career in Montreal as a producer when he was 18 and started his on-air career as a deejay 6 months later in Calgary. His charismatic personality and insightful commentary quickly gained him a loyal following.
One of the defining features of Adler’s career is his versatility. He has worn many hats throughout the years, hosting radio shows, anchoring television news programs, and even delving into the realm of politics. His ability to connect with his audience and tackle a wide range of topics, from politics to social issues, is truly remarkable.
