BlogTO: The Chicken Big Mac is coming to McDonald’s locations in Canada in just a matter of days, and if you weren’t aware that some people out there have been begging for the item, now you know.

It’s not a totally brand new invention for McDonald’s, as similar items have been available in places like the United Kingdom, United States, Egypt and India previously.

This version of it does have a Toronto connection: it was created by a chef from here. People have been asking for Chicken Big Macs in this country for months and months. Many people have tweeted at McDonald’s Canada, tagging them and asking them to release the special item here. And for months, McDonald’s has been responding that it’s not a real menu item.

Let’s. Fucking. GO.

There’s only one sandwich, IMO. The “Fried Chicken Sandwich” and McDonald’s Canada tapped a Canadian chef to dream up an absolute LEGEND. He perfected the “Chicken Big Mac” in time to roll it out across Canada this spring after the beauties at McDonald’s decided to put a change into the chicken sandwich marketplace with this bad boy/girl.

The SECRET MENU is now MAINSTREAM.

I hope it’s not a “limited-time item.’ Two chicken patties dressed as a Big Mac will cause people to lose their minds if McD’s decides to pull this back.

Ask the owners of Popeyes how “LTO” chicken sandwiches make people insane.

The Chicken Big Mac should be a staple to the legendary beef “Big Mac” and excites everyone’s inner pescatarian. Climate change soldiers will eat it because chicken farts aren’t destroying the Ozone layer, and the Chicken Sandwich crowd will fuck with it because it is more of a cult.

But I have questions:

• Is it the same recipe as a regular Big Mac?
• Price point?
• Are there “Siracha” or “Habanero” versions?
• Is there a grilled option for those hoping to look healthy when they eat a “Big Mac”
• Will the Chicken “Big Mac” get its mascot?

I’m not just trying the Chicken Big Mac on March 7th; I’m stumping for it to usurp the regular Big Mac as the new “King” of McDonald’s sandwiches IF it meets my lofty expectations.

And you better help. I’m still furious about the McLobster only being available in Atlantic Canada after it tested poorly around the Country.

Don’t let yourself down again. Order these things once a week for your family and do the rest of the Country a solid.
