To be clear the debate was over for me after #6 but I thought I’d put this little list together for the haters who still think Joe Montana is the best. Take a seat and make some notes kids.

Yesterday, we all witnessed Tom Terrific dismantle the Green Bay Packers and the great Aaron Rodgers on his way to his 10th Super Bowl appearance.

Let me drop some stats on you. Tom Brady has reached the Super Bowl in 10 of 21 seasons TB12’s chance of reaching the Super Bowl in any season (47.6%) is higher than Steph Curry’s career three-point percentage (43.3%)

Before signing Brady as a free agent in March, the Bucs hadn’t been to the playoffs since 2007, and they hadn’t won a playoff game since their Super Bowl XXXVII in the 2002 season. Brady has now taken them to Super Bowl at age 43.

My favourite, Tom Brady now has the same amount of NFC Championships as Aaron Rodgers and Drew
Brees and he’s been in the NFC for 1 season.

Not to mention.

1. Brady has more playoff wins by himself (27) than 28 NFL franchises do in their entire history.

2. Brady has more playoff starts as Peyton Manning and Johnny Unitas combined.

3. Brady has more passing TDs in the Super Bowl than all but 25 quarterbacks do in their entire playoff careers.

4. Not only has Brady never had a season under .500, he’s never had a season that hasn’t been above .500.

5. Brady has thrown more touchdown passes on the road than at home.

6. Brady has 247 career wins, 33 less than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise have in their entire history.

7. The Houston Texans franchise has played five more regular-season games than Brady and earned 86 fewer wins.

8. Like a fine wine, Brady has improved with age. Here are his record and winning percentage for each decade of his career:

Brady in his 20s: 70-27 (.721)

Brady in his 30s: 113-28 (.801)

Brady in his 40s: 13-3 (.813)

9. Tom Brady is ranked No. 3 on the list of all-time QB victories in Buffalo.( Sorry Trainwreck and Duane)

10. It’s almost unheard of for a quarterback to start into his 40s, let alone get to a Super Bowl.

11. Including Favre, only five other QBs have made double-digit starts after hitting the big four-oh

I rest my case. Stop the debate. Shut up about Joe Montana. Tom Brady is the best to ever do it. Don’t @ me. PS: I may throw up by the amount times I hear over the next two weeks about Brady ‘passing the torch to Mahomes’. Tom is not only going to win this Super Bowl but get to another one next year. Why doubt the man? It never goes well.
