The Yankees reminded the baseball world of their financial clout reaching an absurd agreement with Gerrit Cole on a record-setting nine-year, $324 million contract.

Talk about flexing. Hey, Blue Jays fans I really hope you liked seeing the playoffs for those 2 years because we are not going back any time soon.
