The Maple Leafs have called up top prospect Rasmus Sandin

When Cody Ceci and Martin Marincin cost you multiple goals in an embarrassing loss, it gives your GM no choice but to find someone better, and the Leafs have done so, calling up their top-prospect, Rasmus Sandin.

Sandin is fresh off a world junior tournament where he dominated in all aspects of the game, and he’s enjoying himself a stellar season with the AHL’s Marlies.

We brought you the news last week that the team had a date in mind for Sandin’s call up, but it appears after the recent play of Cody Ceci and Martin Marincin, GM, Kyle Dubas has seen enough.

The Leafs also continue to talk with the San Jose Sharks regarding defenceman, Brenden Dillon, so look for another move to be coming down the pipe in the next 10 days.

Leafs Nation, get ready, Sandin is an absolute stud and is very entertaining to watch. A team loaded with skill, just added some more to the mix.
