In case you hadn’t noticed, 2022 was a bad year for political operatives, political fixers, and businesspeople connected to conservative politicians in Canada.
Much of the damage these alleged criminals and operatives have experienced came from the most notorious political fixer in Canadian history, David Wallace.
Once part of the swamp that defined shadowy politics in Canada, Wallace emerged last year after he refused to hand over ex Plymouth Brethren Christian Church member, Richard Marsh, to the cult. The PBCC were hunting him down after Marsh himself blew the whistle on a scam in the UK allegedly perpetrated by the PBCC.

But Wallace, who had been working in the shadows for decades, refused to hand him over. He thought the request amounted to kidnapping, and his conscious wouldn’t allow him to go through with it. So he warned Marsh, told his client –Stephen Harper’s former attorney, and the lawyer who represents the PBCC cult in Canada – Gerald Chipeur, that he was out. Wallace found his red line, and wouldn’t cross it.
Ever since, Wallace has been lifting curtain after curtain in Canada, exposing corruption, shady dealings, and the general lack of ethics and accountability that permeates throughout Canada.
But what happens to whistleblowers like Wallace once they emerge from the shadows? How do they scratch out a living, and how much credit do they get for the enormous task of attempting to set things right in the political underworld most of us didn’t even know existed until he showed us? In Wallace’s case, most of the media he has spoken with or worked with have either shied away from focusing on Wallace, or abandoned him completely after he had given his time and information at great risk to himself.
Let's rewind to the beginning. Before @CANADALAND's Ratfucker, before the @nenshi
Scandal, and before the lawsuit against @JesseBrown
& David Wallace.This is where it all began.@Pick61989 https://t.co/toq6ulVefr

Enter Jesse Brown. The CANADALAND owner is being sued for 1 million dollars by Shane and Edith Wenzel, owners of Shane Homes, for their alleged role in a plot to remove former Calgary mayor Naheed Henshi from office. Brown is fighting the lawsuit, as he should, citing his confidence that the information from his Ratfucker podcast series, information almost entirely provided by Walalce, is factual. Wallace was also named in that lawsuit, but Brown and his lawyers will not absorb Wallace into the legal fight, despite their confidence that the information Wallace provided was factual.
It is unusual for a media company to throw their sources under the bus, unless they come to realize that the information given was false or manufactured. In this case, CANADALAND built an entire web series around the information provided by Wallace, but then ghost him once the lawsuit proceeded. To add insult to injury, Brown even attempted to get Wallace involved in a movie deal about the former political fixer’s life, but still has nothing to say about the lack of willingness to protect his golden source from being destroyed in the courts.

Recently, former PBCC member, Lance Christie, just won a case in the UK after he was accused of harassing 8 members of the PBCC. Ex members are viewing this case as a watershed moment that could help other ex members gather the courage necessary to fight against the litigious nature of the cult. Christie also believes the significance of Wallace’s case can not be overstated.
Last night David Wallace gave the list of ppl he would depose if the lawsuit against him proceeds.
The list: @JonathanDenisAB, @PierrePoilievre, @jkenney, @ABDanielleSmith, @nenshi, Gerald Chipeur, @RCMPAlberta, @CalgaryPolice +2 Russian officials.

“If it were not for David Wallace, Richard Marsh might not be here anymore,” Christie said in a recent phone call with Blackballed. “He needs protection, and someone to represent him so he can fight on.”
Wallace and Christie are both slated to be on Blackballed today (January 29th).
But Wallace has a short window to defend himself against this lawsuit. After he blew the whistle and gave the Canadian media dozens of stories based on his first-hand information, he lost everything. Canadian media who relied on him as an important source, including Brown, then left him out to dry. He has no means to defend himself because he did the right thing, which cost him everything.
His GoFundMe page for legal fees has been set up, but without the expertise in how to run it, the account remains nearly empty.
Meanwhile, Ratfucker was the most downloaded podcast series in Canada in 2022.
