The Toronto Raptors probably won’t go any further than the second round of the NBA playoffs. That doesn’t mean they won’t be a pain in the ass in the Eastern Conference.
Had a blast talking Toronto Raptors with @AdamArmbrecht My favourite take of the show;

On Monday’s Ray’s Sports Rant episode, I hosted the Dean Blundell Networks’ newest podcaster and blogger, Adam Armbrecht, to discuss the Toronto Raptors.
Listen to Ray’s Sports Rant feat. Adam Armbrecht.
Despite showing up eight minutes late, Adam gave us some great insight on the Raptors. FYI showing up late means Adam’s going to fit in perfectly with the network.
Adam and I discussed Pascal Siakam and whether or not he’s disrespected amongst NBA fans and media because he plays in Toronto. Adam believes Spicey P is a significant number two. The Raptors wouldn’t have won the championship without him, even with Kawhi Leonard on the team.
Adam gave his opinion on the 2021/2022 NBA Rookie of the Year, Scottie Barnes. Adam agreed that rookies can play a little loose their first season. Still, heading into season two, Barnes needs to improve his overall game.
Finally, I asked Adam the question that all Toronto fans are thinking about. What are realistic expectations for the Raptors? To sum it up, the Raptors are going to be a pain in the ass. They could win a first-round playoff series, but they lack the star power that teams like the Boston Celtics possess. That being said, Adam did say the Raptors are the team that none of the top seeds want to play.
