Chris Sky vs Dean Blundell. For the past week it’s been nonstop tweets, articles and varying degrees of truths that culminated in an appearance from Chris on The Dean Blundell Show on Monday. I settled in to watch the debate just like hundreds of other people and was disheartened by what I saw.

The mistrust, the barbs, the slanderesque language all used in the name of trying to prove a point. I’m talking of course about the insults hurled toward A&W, an innocent bystander in a brutal war of words and values.

While Sky camped out in his car for a debate that he had (presumably) studied and prepared for, the tech failed him and he was unable to make his point in an eloquent manner. As a result he made his way over to a nearby A&W to resume his verbal sparring. Alas, it was not meant to be as once again his connection did not adequately work and we were left with a few minutes of incoherent gibberish in addition to the poor sound quality.

It was at this time the quality of A&W’s wifi was drawn into question. It was an unnecessary and unprovoked attack against a proudly Canadian establishment that was not in a position to defend itself. I am a BIG fan of A&W and am here to say that in my experiences their wifi has always been more than sufficient, their customer service excellent and burgers delicious. To say anything contrary to that is a disservice to the general public.

Besides, I suspect that even with the worlds best connection, the man with the world’s worst neck tattoo wouldn’t have been able to go two sentences without saying something untruthful or offensive. Don’t put that on A&W.
