While the Raptors in the 6 are in a bit of a transition period after trading away Pascal Siakam, I decided to take a trip to the 905 and watch the Raptors 905 to see who may have next, as my Crier counterparts Josh and Jesse have done already.
On this Saturday the 905 welcome the first-place Delaware Blue Coats to Mississauga. The 905 got off to a hot start led by guard Markquis Nowell but Delaware caught back up turning a 12-4 deficit quickly into a 10-point lead for the 76ers G League affiliate. The Raptors couldn’t buy a basket for a lot of the second quarter and parts of the third quarter, but Aminu Mohammed’s 21 points through 3. But the 905 fought through it and with 28 third-quarter points we’ve got a ball game.
Now I know I haven’t written a lot about the game itself, but basketball is a very fun sport to attend in person and the 905 provides a family-friendly atmosphere that in the days of inflation can be a nice outing for a family without breaking the bank. Now back to the game.
The 905 got off to a hot start in the fourth quarter going punch for punch with the Blue Coats, however the 905 still remain down 2 with 3 minutes to go in the game and off of the hands of Javon Freeman Liberty and some good defensive spots by the 905 and now the 905 have come back to lead the game with less than a minute to go thanks again to good defence and some Delaware miscues, The 905 get the 97-91 win at home.

Hi, my name is Griff and I'm a complete sports nut. I love to play sports, watch sports and most importantly bet on sports too. If I'm not watching or betting on sports, you can find me on the golf course, between the pipes as your average beer league goaltender. Although sports take up most of my life, I also love spending time with my two dogs, streaming usually a 90's Simpson's or attempting to read more books.
