The Buffalo Sabres blew a 3-0 lead in the third, losing 4-3 to the Flyers last night.  That’s 18 straight losses and I’m fairly certain it broke Duane’s entire brain.

I was busy with the Leafs/Oilers tilt so I didn’t watch the game but I kind of wish I did.  after 17 straight losses, the Sabres looked like they were Golden for two periods and their 7 weeks of misery might have been over but, no sir.  They did what the Sabres do, keeping their hopes of 21 straight losses alive with a fucking gong show third culminating in this beautiful ‘Only In Buffalo’ moment.

Duane’s entire post-game rant is terrific. He’s manic in a good way if there was a good way to be manic.  You can literally see Duane go from accepting the misery to sheer outrage, to laughing hysterically, over and over again.
