Concluding a successful series like Mando with a high-earning blockbuster movie appears to be the inevitable route. Given the success of the three seasons of the TV,and Pedro Pascal’s presence in major Hollywood franchises, it seems fitting to wrap up the narrative with a fourth season followed by a lucrative movie.

Despite Disney’s past decisions regarding the Star Wars franchise, I have all the trust in the world for Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, especially considering how their brainchild rejuvenated the Star Wars fanbase after the divisive sequel trilogy.

I hope for occasional appearances by Mando in upcoming Star Wars projects, provided he survives the movie, I also anticipate—perhaps even demand—the enduring presence of Baby Yoda, not just in our lives but also in the lives of our future generations.

The movie will begin production this year.
