The Toddcast Podcast took a month long hiatus and we’re back at it, coming out swingin’!

This week, 4x Canadian olympic snowboarder and all around badass Mercedes Nicoll is a guest. You’ve been watching Mercedes on the world scene – tearing up the halfpipe since she made her World Cup debut in December 1999 in Whistler in halfpipe and snowboard cross. Three years later, in 2002, she won bronze at the World Cup. In total – Mercedes won eight World Cup medals – and is a five time Canadian National Champion! She competed at the 2006, 2010 & 2014 Winter Olympics… one of Canada’s best snowboarders… in 2018 – she was named to Canada’s Olympic team for the fourth time!

Pure, Arrow & Riverdale actor Ryan Robbins is a guest this week too! He recently nailed down the role of Fred Andrews but you’ll know him for tons of other shows – Hell on Wheels, Stargate Atlantis, Sanctuary, Battlestar Galactica, X-Files, Van Helsing & more! A great story – hustle and grind your way to the top. A good Canadian kid, born in Victoria BC, currently living in Squamish.

And Black Joe Lewis is a guest too! You’ll hear in the interview that Joe actually picked up the guitar later-on-in-life, which is kind of surprising, considering his playing. You’d think that he’s been playing since a lil’ kid. Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears have been around since 2007 – formed in Austin, Texas… couple years later, Esquire magazine called them “one of the 10 bands to Break Out at 2009’s South By Southwest Festival”. Maybe you’ve been lucky enough to see them live – critics worldwide rave about their performance… Google search their set from 2008’s Lollapalooza… just a fantastic live band… they played Letterman a couple times, the Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson, Austin City Limits… Coachella, Bumbershoot, Sasquatch – so many festival appearances.

And they’ve done well on the Billboard Blues Chart – in 2017, their album “Backlash” debuted at #3.

Enjoy the podcast! Please share with someone who might be into it too!
