Blue Jays Are Back Where They Belong

Apr 6, 2022

Gone are the Dunedin Blue Jays. Forgotten are the Buffalo Blue Jays. For the first time since 2019, the Toronto Blue Jays will be playing baseball at home in Toronto on Opening Day.

There’s a buzz around the Blue Jays and there should be. We’ve been watching the Toronto roster grow up since 2019, and now the team is a lineup of superstars, some homegrown, others free agents. Regardless of how they got here, the Toronto Blue Jays will be bringing their one through nine nightmare to packed house, in Toronto, where they belong.

Let’s face it, there has been a disconnect between the team and the fans. Watching the boys play most of last season in minor league ballparks sucked. Even when they got them home, they were playing in front of limited capacity crowds. Friday is going to be different.

With the Premiere of Ontario pretending that the COVID-19 pandemic is over, we’re going to get to see a rocking Rogers Center packed to capacity, cheering on a Blue Jays team that has a real shot at bringing a World Series back to Canada.

If you’re not amped up enough for the Blue Jays season, here’s what you can look forward to.

The Toronto Blue Jays are back where they belong, so time for the city to make some noise. The march to the World Series starts on Friday.
