Part of me believes families when they say “he was sick but we didn’t know he was fucked” and part of me doesn’t. I think some families know but they don’t want to say anything or they’re blind to it because they replace reality with the hope their loved one figures it out.
I don’t know if that’s the case here, but it shouldn’t mute the sadness for every innocent person touched by this terribleness. Including The Hussain family.
