While most of us are watching the world burn from our quarantined living rooms, there’s one thing that won’t change; Steve Simmons impeccable timing and overall shitty personality.

I laid off this tweet for the last 5 days (I’m shocked Stevie didn’t delete it…he has a habit of doing that) in light of the #COVID19 pandemic.  I really have been trying to not contribute to the negative cloud we’re all under but, I feel like It’s my moral duty to shine a light into dark corners where cockroaches live now more than ever.

While Canadian’s are dying and our economy is crashing Steve decided to bury other news outlets Sports Sections instead of using his platform for a more meaningful purpose.

This Steve Simmons Tweet is piggish and shortsighted.

Steve’s boastful tweet bragging about HIS sports stories during a time when every fucking league on the planet is dormant is fucking hilarious.

Even funnier?  Trying to convince people his nonexistent sports reporting is longer and therefore better than his competition’s non-sports stories.

Simmon’s lack of social awareness and purely vacant stupidity in this tweet was so obnoxious, his lapdog Bruce Arthur felt it was offside.  Bruce is the most self-aggrandizing journo on the planet so that’s quite the statement.

People are suffering enough Steve. We don’t need 20 pages of the Sun to make things worse.

I think Steve, like most newspaper people, is stuck in 1995. 25 years ago there were really only three ways to get information; TV, Papers, Radio.
Scribes like Steve were big swinging dicks in the cracker factory back then because those three mediums had a monopoly on information dissemination. Opinions were looked at like fact and people who delivered those opinions were HUGE.  Radio and TV used Newspapers as ‘sources’ for their content more than any other medium and writers were ‘it’.
In the past 10 years, guys like steve have been figured out. We do our own research now. We don’t rely on cock wallopers like Steve to tell us how to think.
Remember when Steve made up the Phile Kessel ‘Hot Dog’ scandal?
No one would have questioned Steved in 1995. In 2015, we can google where Phil lives on Google Maps then cross-reference that to find the closest Hot Dog stand. Which we did. Which proved Steve lied.
Like he’s lying about ALL the sweet sports in the Toronto Star Sports section during a global pandemic with every league and sport non-operational.
It’s just Steve’s way of going out fighting I guess.
If our neighbors weren’t dying and we weren’t all in quarantine, I’d feel sorry for him (if he didn’t feel so sorry for himself).
Instead, I just want to punch him in his chapped lips for being human garbage.
