You know when you glance at a story and 4 days later, it’s the biggest story in Canada?

I’m pretty sure this is one of those stories.

According to almost every legitimate news outlet, Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government-directed $912,000,000.00 in COVID19 student grants away from government-run agencies capable of administering funds, to We Charity.  We Charity not only happens to be where Canada’s first lady, Sophie Trudeau works but his best friend in the whole world, Craig Kielburger owns We Charity with his brother aaaaaaannnnnnnd, it smells like shit.

NP: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says an organization that he and his wife have worked with and that was chosen to administer the federal government’s COVID-19 student volunteer grant program is the “only one” able to do so.

“The WE organization is the only organization in Canada that has the scale and the ability to deliver volunteer opportunities for young people right across the country at all levels of organizations,” Trudeau said during his daily press briefing on Friday.

The prime minister was referring to the announcement Thursday that the federal government had outsourced the administration of the new Canada Student Service Grant (CSSG) to WE charity.

The program, estimated to cost over $900 million, will send between $1,000 and $5,000 to eligible post-secondary students who complete volunteer work. Recipients will receive $1,000 per 100 hours of eligible volunteering hours done until October 31, 2020.

The WE charity is tied to the prime minister’s wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, who is a WE ambassador.

On Friday, the prime minister also admitted to having done volunteer work for the charity in the past, but said the decision to outsource the CSSG to WE was made solely by the public service. He did not say if his wife would cut ties with WE going forward.

He also said that the federal government would only be covering the costs to administer the program, and that the charity would not be making any profit from running the CSSG.

OK. Once again, I’ll start this Trudeau post with the disclaimer:

What the National Post article suggests is optically dirty as fuck.

I think Jesse Brown is a self righteous-tool but he wrote a weird piece about the Kielburger’s ‘cult’ with accounts from former students who claimed they worked 16 hour days for Third World wages in shitty conditions while being treated like garbage

Some said WE demanded total personal commitment from young workers and volunteers, extracting 16-hour work days with unpaid overtime, at near-minimum wage. Some said that WE management used guilt to suppress dissent from employees, stressing that requests for better pay and support would take resources away from needy children in Africa.. 

It also questions where Craig and Mark’s real estate wealth comes from and today, I think I know where some of it is coming from…

I just have a few questions.

Why has Trudeau privatized government grants when the Canadian Government is 100% capable of doing it?

Trudeau said ‘The WE organization is the only organization in Canada’ capable of facilitating this.  That’s not true and if it is, it’s funny because he’s talking about how useless his own infrastructure is.

How much are you giving the Brothers Kielburger to ‘administer the program’.?

Great question and unfortunately we’re not allowed to know that because WE Charity is ‘Non-Governmental Organization’ and is therefore exempt for auditing or any spending scrutiny.

Sweet fucking move.

Was your wife instrumental in helping outsource almost a billion dollars to the company she works for?  

Trudeau’s overly dramatic wife is one of the most important ‘We Charity’ Ambassadors and she plans on staying with We in that role.  Clearly it didn’t hurt We’s ability to get their hands on that money, now did it.
