Playing Rule Proposal 1 was amended. Both teams are now guaranteed a possession in overtime — but it’s now postseason only. It was approved, per source.

Of course, the Bills got screwed by the old rules and then the NFL makes this switch. Both teams will have a chance to score and nobody will complain.
