Two Toronto Men Rushed To Hospital After Beating The Shit Out Of Each Other With Hockey Sticks. Again.

I say ‘again’ because this happens weekly.

CTV: Two men have been transported to hospital in non-life threatening condition after they got into a fight while armed with hockey sticks.

The incident happened outside a home near Crosby Avenue and Newkirk Drive in Richmond Hill, Ont. shortly after 8 a.m.

Police say that the fight eventually spilled over into the middle of the street. Police say that the two men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One of those men, police say, is currently under arrest. It is not immediately clear what charges, if any, he will face. 

If Ryan Gosling loves it, I love it. 
If memory (from shuttling my kids to hockey rinks around the GTA) serves me correctly, there’s a rink in that area.
That means either:
A) Two hockey Dad’s got into it with their kid’s twigs over one of the parents acting like an enormous
B) Two drunk dudes got wicked after shinny and took the on ice beef out into the streets
It happens here.  It’s a crime of convenience.  Americans drive around with guns in a gun rack, Candian’s always have a couple of sticks and a hockey bag in the trunk.  Always.
Noon shinny.  6 am shinny.  Adult Safe Hockey League games at 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11pm, Monday through Friday.  Candian’s salivating at the thought of open ice and a change room full of beer is a ‘thing’ in every province or territory of this Great White North.
I love the fact only one guy was charged too.  That means the cops got the guy who started it and in Canada, that’s pretty much the law.
