Source: A fan during the Rockies-Marlins game at Coors Field was picked up by field mics uttering a racial slur toward Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson on Sunday.
The incident came in the top of the ninth inning and the fan can clearly be heard on the broadcast as he yells the n-word during the at-bat.
Fans and media were outraged and voiced their disgust on social media, where many called for the Rockies to find the fan and hold him accountable.
There was no word yet on whether or not the fan was identified by the Rockies or stadium security.
