Video: After Four Hours Of Surgery, Tessica Brown Promises To NEVER Use Gorilla Glue As Hairspray Again

Feb 11, 2021

NYPOST: Tessica Brown, the Louisiana woman whose use of Gorilla Glue in her hair made national headlines, has undergone a surgical procedure in Beverly Hills to remove the offending gunk, according to reports.

“The surgery went well,” Dr. Michael Obeng, director of MiKO Plastic Surgery, told CBS Los Angeles. “Tessica is doing well. She’s awake. The hair crew is doing her hair.”

After the four-hour procedure, during which Brown was under light anesthesia, she got choked up when she realized that she could once again run her fingers through her hair, according to TMZ.

In video TMZ shot of the procedure, Obeng explained that he combined medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil and acetone to break down the polyurethane, the main ingredient in Super Glue.

Tessica Brown, the woman whose hair’s been Gorilla Glued for more than a month, finally has sweet relief — and we have video of the surgery that saved the day.

People are awesome. Stupid, but awesome.

Based on the name alone, I’m just assuming using ‘Gorilla Glue’ in your hair is a bad idea.  Not Tessica.  She is well aware of the holding power of ‘Gorilla Glue’ and if her goal was to make sure her hair didn’t move, job done.

I wonder at what point she realized she might have an issue?  She walked around like this trying not to look like a moron for a month but I want to know when the anxiety set in.  Two days?  Two weeks?  When did she realize that her head was an impenetrable cast of superglue and who did that make her feel?

My sister jammed a pussy willow up her nose when she was 4 and she only lasted an hour or two before she came running into the kitchen for help.  This woman is in her 30s and it took her a month.

Tessica said she’s looking forward to getting her hair back and promised to never use a super adhesive as a hair product ever again.

Probably smart.
