I’m not even sure you could use the ‘grandfathered in’ approach to saying something so blatantly racist, not that that’s ever an excuse to be a bigot.
If you magically don’t get why this is racist, I’ll explain this to you like you’re in the fourth grade.
Any negative portrayal of any race that you are not part of is considered racist by way of generalization of the entire group you are targeting.
Calling all Chinese people ‘yellow skinned’ and ‘slanty-eyed’ is not only categorically racist, but it’s also really fucking stupid.
My therapist said to me once ‘I can tell when you are passionate due to the aggressive nature of your language’. Same shit here, only he’s passionate about hating Chinese people whereas I was passionate about my dislike of marriage and the person I was married to.
Man, I woulda loved to have seen his face when they told him he was rinsed. Guys like Ross Cameron are usually left blindsided by the news that they are racist because they haven’t evolved and are incapable of doing so.
