Video: Blue Jays Celebrate Postseason Berth in Style

Oct 1, 2022

The Toronto Blue Jays are back in the postseason. Let the champagne flow.

Before the party could begin, the Blue Jays had a game to play, and they laid a fucking beating on the Boston Red Sox. It also gave Bo Bichette the chance to set yet another franchise record. Bichette hit his 48th hit of the month, surpassing Jays great Tony Fernandez, who hit 47 hits in a month during the 1986 season.

After the ass-kicking was over, the Blue Jays celebrated, and it was kicked off by manager John Schneider.

After a terrible playoff drought from 1993 – 2015, the Blue Jays and the postseason are becoming more regular. I feel like we deserve it. If you’re like me and sat in an empty Roger Centre watching the Blue Jays lose to bad teams, it’s great that we knew Toronto would be in the postseason before the season started.

Forgive me for jumping the gun, but we’ll see you in the World Series.
