Canada’s Mens Soccer Team just participated in the FIFA Men’s World Cup and Canada Soccer probably made a crazy amount of money from the tournament (Not just the $10 million for qualifying, trust me sponsors paid up).

Canada’s Women Soccer Team is the reigning Olympic gold medallists. Canada’s Women’s Soccer Team is ranked #6 in the world. Canada will be participating and trying to win the Women’s World Cup this summer.

So, the only logical thing for Canada Soccer to do was cut their budget.

Our Canadian Women’s Soccer Team, who won Olympic Gold two years ago, and who are preparing for a World Cup later this summer, were recently told that Canada Soccer will be cutting the programs budget for 2023.
