Tough one for Powell. He’s a really good NBA player and he’s not playing for a year which means he’s No Bueno for Canada’s Olympic Qualifier this summer and THAT is a big loss.
He’s a better big than Olynyk and he’s a great defender (was gonna write rim defender but I can’t even though it’s legit accurate and I mean it. Feels disingenuous.).
Poor kid. Canada was coming together with everyone from Murray to SGA all in. Every except for the uber pussy, Andrew Wiggins who left the door open to the possibility which makes him the dick I thought he was. We don’t need Wiggins shitty entitlement around this team but a Dwight Powell woulda came in handy.
