When CNN and WaPo break from their Trump bashing to bring you a story about curlers being too drunk to curl, it’s big news, and that’s great for a sport you couldn’t pay me to watch unless half the field is wasted.
Earlier today the team of Jamie Koe, Ryan Fry, Chris Schille and DJ Kidby were ejected from the Red Deer Curling Classic due to unsportsmanlike behaviour. #cbccurl @CBCOlympics

Curling is the active equivalent of ice fishing. It exists solely to get people out of the house into an activity they can drink their asses off while they are doing it. Next, to hockey, it’s the number one winter past time and out rates NBA games on television in Canada.
If you want to see into the mind of the alcoholic curler, enjoy this video of guys getting shitcanned after curling, talking curling this is basically what happens on the ice, only it’s guys with brooms and some Manitoba Martini’s playing shuffleboard on ice.
From Wade Thurber, Manager of Red Deer Curling Centre
“They went out to curl and they were extremely drunk and breaking brooms and swearing and just unacceptable behaviour that nobody wants to watch or hear or listen to and it was just enough was enough”#cbccurl
