Video: Check Out This Bullet Proof Safe Room Americans Are Installing In Kid’s Classrooms
If only there were another way to keep toddlers and kids safe from gun violence in math class.
It's the flowers that make this particularly horrifying to me. How do Americans not see this as a problem?

Instead of enacting new gun laws and widening background checks, American gun lovers would rather lock their kids in an 8×10 steel panic room to make room for INCELS with AR15s and an anger problem.
Why? New gun laws mean mom and dad have to become responsible gun owners too, and that’s not happening.
They would literally rather subject their kids to a life-changing panic room with active shooter drills than advocate for stricter gun laws and common sense background checks.
ITS NOT NORMAL!!! https://t.co/lvaGIqsxIn

I can’t imagine selling these things or being the woman in this video doing the portable panic room demonstration. I’d feel like a fucking loser looking for a commission from selling this shit. Your livelihood is based on a workaround to keep putting guns in the hands of people who like to shoot kids.
I had a gun pointed at me in Arizona last week. It stayed with me for three days, and no one pulled the trigger. I shit my pants, and I’m a grown-ass man.
Dean's story of being held at gunpoint in Arizona is nothing short of insane #thisisamerica #america #gun #thisisamerica #america #gun pic.twitter.com/E7O4VbYVy8

After “the incident,” I went for dinner with friends from the area whose kids are in HS there.
- 10-foot electrified fence
- metal detectors
- armed guards at exits/patrolling pick up and drop off
We don’t understand it because Canada has reasonable gun laws, but Americans are different. Gun ownership is a right as much as they have the freedom to vote. They are born into the “gun Ideology, and despite the egregious number of mass shootings (over 400 last year), it’s a reasonably fair gun society.
I was recounting the story of having a gun pointed at me to one of our Uber drivers and told him it was fucking weird because handguns are illegal in Canada, and gun ownership is a privilege the state can take away at any time.
He couldn’t believe it.
He took his handgun out of the door pocket and told us about his routine when he gets pulled over.
- put your hands out the window,
- tell the officer you have a firearm
- The officer tells you to take the clip out and place the pieces on the dashboard with your hands.
- The officer approaches the car for license and registration.
- Once that’s done and the officer leaves, you put your gun back together and carry on your merry way.
Do you know how fucked up that entire interaction sounds? To an American, it’s a civilized way to operate in a gun society where you have the unalienable right to own one. As a Canadian, it’s INSANE.
There are 400 million registered firearms in America, and ONLY 400 mass shootings last year. The death toll is MORE than acceptable to them, and their values differ significantly from ours. They are OK with daily active shooter drills and panic rooms because their right to own guns supersedes their desire to keep their kids safe.
Owning a gun is THAT important.
What hideous ghouls thought, “Hey! Let’s monetize the culture of mass child murder!”?!? I hate this cursed timeline.

And THAT is a fucking shame.
