Source  – An Oregon student is recovering after a violent collision with a deer.

According to KDRV, senior Josie Lemley suffered a concussion when a deer charged straight into her outside Eagle Point High School.

“The Eagle Point High School was running a fire drill, and upon students exiting the building, there were two deer on campus that we’re spooked, and one of them ran into a student who was exiting for the fire drill,” said district member Damian Crowson.

Video taken right after the incident shows staff and students gathered around Josie and the deer struggling to stand.

“I think I got hit in the face with a hoof,” Lemley said. “Well we were having a fire drill during school hours, I made it halfway out there and next thing I know I was on the ground. I never saw any deer.”

Lemley was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery after the bizarre accident.

Administrators say they may add perimeter checks as part of their drill plan.

You know it’s not your day when you take part in a fire drill, and you don’t remember it because a deer launches itself into your face and knocks you out.

The day I came home from my best friends funeral, My ex-wife killed my dog, and I told her I wanted a divorce.  Tough 24 hours.  The next day I was making a bowl of rice for my kids and spilled it everywhere and lost my fucking mind.   That’s how stuff like this works.  In the heat of the moment, she was probably pretty cool.  When she got home and broke her lipstick, she took a pickax to her car.
