This happened in Texas, where Governor Greg Abbott lifted the statewide mask mandate, but businesses can still demand customers wear masks.
The meathead wasn’t arrested for not wearing a mask. She was arrested for acting like an asshole after being asked to wear a mask or leave.
If you’re still iffy on how that works, think of businesses as private residences. If you walk into someone’s private residence and proceed to do something, not to the homeowner’s liking, they can ask you to leave. If you don’t, you’re trespassing and become subject to arrest and prosecution.
SO instead of putting on a 6×9 piece of cloth on her face, Bank Karen chose to destroy whatever shitty life she might have had before this arrest.
Some excellent decision-making, huh.
Freedom of speech doesn’t give you the freedom to act like a selfish piece of shit.
