Video: Jocelyne Larocque Of The Canadian female Olympic Hockey Team Wanted Nothing To Do With Her Silver Medal
A SAVAGE move by Jocelyne Larocque who knows silver medals are a constant reminder you’re a loser.
Nope, not interested in silver pic.twitter.com/H3fMW7ZfRW

Call her a poor sport but she doesn’t want to frame something that reminds her she lost for the next 4 years and I like that.
Bronze means you won and Gold means you won it all in Olympic Hockey. Silver means jack shit other than the last game you played you lost and more people should be throwing these things away.
I’m not saying it’s wrong at all to take off a silver medal. I think it displays passion and emotion— I’m all for it.
It’s just that at the time of the WJC, my TL was flooded with Canadians claiming that Lias was “disrespecting his entire country” by getting rid of the medal. pic.twitter.com/0byUVKsHNj

This kid had the right Idea. Losing sucks and I don’t want anyone on my team that wants to look at the loser reminder for the rest of his/her life.
