Unlike you, I’m not triggered by Joe Rogan. Joe isn’t brilliant, and his show seems to be about trying to sound like an authority while googling subjects he says he’s an authority in.

Take this clip from his show yesterday with gun-rights activist Colion Noir. Because Joe is friends with Jordan Peterson, Joe used his extreme lack of understanding of gun rights in Canada (there are none) to paint Justin Trudeau as a commie dictator who won’t let people buy guns for self-defense.

Instead of calling Joe names, let’s take a screen grab from Canada’s Fire Arms act. You know, for accuracy, so we’re not part of the circus of idiocy.

(If you want to save time, it says no one holds the right to own a firearm in Canada and lists a series of Criteria for owning one. Shooting people on your lawn for shits and gigs, to Joe’s displeasure, doesn’t wash)

F is a biggie. Joe might be disgusted, but Canadians have never had the right to shoot someone because they feel threatened arbitrarily. For 400 years. It’s in the fucking Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Reasonable limitations. First sentence.

Joe has a hard time with the fact that other countries around the world don’t have the same gun laws as his shithole country. He found out on his show and couldn’t believe Canada doesn’t have the same gun laws as America, then blamed Trudeau for it.

Podcasting isn’t a science, but you’d think a guy getting 200 million for this shit might read up on the topic he’s tackling. I don’t watch or listen to Rogan, and the assumptions I make are from 4-minute clips, but this seems to happen in almost every clip where Rogan calls out woke-ism by blaming the person his buddy Jordan Peterson hates MOST.

Trudeau hates guns. Jordan hates Trudeau because Jordan is an Evangelical orthodox Christian extremist who hates gay/trans people. Jordan and Joe talk all the time, and Joe’s audience overlaps with Jordan’s, so they help each other out.

Joe loves guns and grew up in a country where owning/shooting your neighbors with firearms is a constitutionally protected right.

Jordan grew up in a country that takes the protection of human life and the safety of its citizens seriously.

Jordan is angry and emotionally/mentally unwell, so he hates Canada’s decades-old gun laws.

Joe is willingly ignorant for ratings/clout and has no idea what he’s talking about. However, that doesn’t matter as long as news outlets paint Canada as a dictatorship ahead of the Canada Day Freeumb Convoy.

Joe wants to make Canada look like a woke dictatorship for Jordan’s friend Pierre Poilievre while destroying the idea that we’re not the 3rd most accessible country to live in, according to every global index.

We live free because we have gun laws and reasonable limitations. Any American who calls that disgusting prepares for life-like Joe Rogan, and doesn’t watch the news.

Either way, Joe is full of shit and I don’t like Justin Trudeau, but it’s worth noting that you shouldn’t be taking your outrage cues from a guy who formulates opinions from his producer scrolling through Google because he’s too lazy to prep.
