Best I can gather, Karen was trying to order a coffee from a Barista-in-training. Karen took exception to how long it was taking to make her ice cap, and this was her response.

These baristas have been here before.

This woman’s coffee order is the least of her issues. She’s a mess. Everyone who responds like this is an emotionally detached mess who can’t handle any inconvenience. It’s an entitlement/IQ combo for most people who act like this. They have an unrealistic expectation of who they are, and they are too dumb to get it.

She walked out of that Starbucks and cried her glasses off in her dirty minivan for 2 hours after this experience. The embarrassment of losing your shit like a psycho in the middle of a busy coffee shop usually doesn’t set in until you walk back to your car.

Trust me.

Get a little counseling and talk to your doctor about meds if this is you—any meds.
