Source  –  Cellphone video showing a Winnipeg police officer allegedly hitting a 12-year-old boy was a key piece of evidence used to charge the officer with assault.

The original raw video, obtained by CBC News, is just over a minute in length and shows two police officers arriving at a city home on Aug. 7 asking to talk to the boy and although you can’t see the officer touch the boy, a loud slap can be heard.

The boy’s mother told CBC News she called police for help when her son was acting erratically throwing garbage and recycling around during a temper tantrum. 

 The video shows a male police officer asking the boy what’s going on, the boy swears at the officer repeatedly. “Hey listen you’re 12 you don’t talk to me like that,” the officer says.

I long for the days when the cops were allowed to “Caution” little assholes like this to put the fear of God in them.  It’s only worked for the past 500 years and would probably work for the next 500 if we stopped complaining.

Today a cop can’t even shoot someone for making an illegal left turn unless they are black.  Total bullshit.

Maybe talking to the kid might work but that takes too long, and this cop was at the end of his shift.

The kids a little dick but that’s not the cops job.  That belongs to the parents who called the cops and now wish they didn’t because snowflake caught leather for being a little puke.

The balls on the kid are remarkable.  I still cringe when I see the police and if that’s a 12-year-old me I’ve already peed my pants in the crawlspace waiting for them to leave.
