I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to look at the GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs GM, the ‘Golden Hockey Pony’, Kyle Dubas tag his Grandma Dubas as the person he’d run through the wall for.

Well done. and so simple.  It literally takes 5 seconds to do on your phone and it only humanizes and endears you to a fan base you just spent a couple hundred million dollars on.

But, I like the stuff they’re doing.  They’re taking a page out of the Raptors marketing plan and trying to appeal to younger folks who can’t afford the tickets RIGHT NOW, but they’ll inherit them along with some land in Muskoka next to the previous season ticket holder.  Smart.

Right?  Terrific hype video.  Seriously.  I got goosebumps and found the Bruins cameo particularly funny at the exact same time and that’s probably hard to do.

Maybe go with “It’s Not Even CLOSE” or ‘Is this a big lead going into the 3rd period? RT for Yes’.  “Keep it going in the final frame” seems like a bit of a gimme and Hockey Try-Hard at the same time

Just keep it simple and make sure Dubas stays on it from time to time.

Having your twitter feed have a personality is important.  I should actually do a better job of it.

Just get rid of the fucking Hall and Oates and we’re good.  It’s soooooooooo weak.
